Development & Peace Fall Workshops - Saskatoon

Sep 22, 2018
  * All are invited to attend Development & Peace’s fall campaign workshops for the Saskatoon diocese.  The campaign, called Share the Journey, is on forced migration.  D&P has joined in this global Catholic campaign that Pope Francis launched last fall.  Given the huge migration of people around the globe and divisive reactions, Pope Francis is urging us to develop a culture of encounter.  No one should be forced to flee their home, yet 68.5 million people in the world today are forced migrants.   To learn more about the universal Catholic Church’s response to forced migration, or about the campaign, and how to be a part of it, please join us at one of the following workshops in the diocese.  An RSVP is appreciated. Saskatoon: 22, 1 pm to 4 pm at Columbian Place 1407 20th St. W. Saskatoon. For RSVP or more information, kindly contact Joanne (mj.steckler@shaw.ca ) or Betty (306-975-1109). Webinar: 26, 7 pm to 8:30 pm.  You must register in advance for this on-line workshop in order to receive the link. Please register by sending an email request to asonntag@devp.org .  Registration deadline is Sept. 25. Bruno: 30, 2 pm to 5 pm at St. Bruno Parish, 700 Kirby St., Bruno, SK.  For RSVP or more information, please contact Lucille or Victor (306-369-4193).
